Winery information:
The vineyards in the Duero Valley are testimony to the history of this area which was written by the shepherds and farmers who long ago lived there.
It's said that the cold nights and hot days in the highest areas of these lands perfectly combine with the mountains winds to bring back memories of the first care given to the vines already back in the 12th century. Way high up there is where the grape ripens in the silence of the starry nights. Patiently awaiting the day when its great dream will come true: to become a Ribera del Duero worthy of praise.
Vineyard:
At 895 metres altitude you can almost touch the stars and shape the clouds. The dusk air is intense with fragrance. And the sun lights up the land in all its splendour. Here, at a height of 895 metres, Celeste is born, the Torres family’s first Ribera del Duero.
Vinification:
Regular pumping over was carried out during the alcoholic fermentation to extract colour and structure. The wine was then transferred to French and American oak barrels for 12 months' maturation.
