The Moutard family has been making wine since 1642. Since then they were always keen on exploring the potential of different terroirs, maintaining traditions as well as experimenting with different grapes varieties. Francois Moutard's 21 hectares vineyard are in Buxeuil on the Côte de Bar.

This wine with the stronger backbone of the Coteaux Champenois Pinot Noir, and richerfruity style, is a very food friendly and versatile wine. It can accompany delicate or rustic charcuterie such as Parma ham or paté, light salads, light pasta and rice dishes, especially with seafood, raw and lightly cooked shellfish American and Asian cuisine.
