The Chardonnay grapes were harvested at night under a cool temperature. The grapes were destemmed,
crushed, pressed and cold settled, before being racked off their lees and inoculated with specially selected yeast strains. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks at 13 degrees. After fermentation the wine was immediately racked off its yeast lees, filtered and stored in stainless steel tanks ready for blending. This wine had no oak treatment and was bottled under a screw cap closure to retain freshness and the true varietal character of the Chardonnay grapes.

All vines have been spur pruned. Vine age is varied. Vines are planted roughly 1.8m apart with 3.6m between the rows to allow machinery access. The Trellis system is generally a single wire cordon.
This unoaked Chardonnay is an appealing fruit driven wine that has aromas of candied lemon, lime and honey-dew melon. The palate is a fusion of citrus peardrop and ripe melon flavours that continue to a long and zesty finish.
Enjoy with grilled fish, chicken salad or just as an aperitif.
